For the Record: Side A
Hey it’s Rocket.
I’m grinding through my psych degree with an ABA focus, so i get why your dog, your kid, friend, partner, or coworker, act like that. Take FTR like a voice memo where we haven’t talked in a while and I’m catching you up on the latest—it’s me hitting record on the spice of life: the song stuck in your head at 2 AM, the shower thought that flips everything, or the habit you didn’t even realize you had. yeah, i study ABA but this isn’t a psych podcast. it’s a Rocket podcast. so expect behavior stuff sometimes, but mostly just me catching you up on whatever’s lighting up my brain. Each episode, i’ll share a story from my week, maybe even talk about a track i can’t stop playing on repeat. no actual script, just me helping you pass the time while you hit the gym, grabbing a coffee, or running an errand.
Lets catch up

Anchors, Not Fixes
Last week, I admitted my Kindle had turned into a paperweight. This week, I’ve actually cracked it open, one chapter, one win. In this episode, I talk about the rituals that do stick: my all‑year iced coffee routine, a habit‑tracking journal (shout out to Peter McKinnon), and how a little concept from ABA called behavioral momentum explains why small wins can snowball into bigger ones. It’s not about perfection, it’s about placement. Grab your cold brew, and let’s talk about the rituals that actually work.
